eSOL and ARM Extend Strategic Partnership to Offer Superior Embedded Development Solutions
--- ARM joins eSOL's eCROS Partner Program to cooperatively enhance their multicore-related technology portfolio ---

Tokyo, Japan. October 7, 2009 - eSOL Co., Ltd., a leading developer of real time embedded software solutions, announced today that ARM has joined the eCROS Partner Program to further enhance the development of ARM processor-based applications and products using eSOL's T-Kernel/µITRON-based embedded software platform. eCROS is an integrated software solutions platform and consists of RTOS, IDE, middleware, and applications, and includes both home-grown and third-party solutions. Use of eCROS is best suited to advanced top-of-the-line products, especially in-vehicle navigation and infotainment systems, and consumer electronics with digital and/or video imaging technologies. The eCROS Partner Program is designed to thoroughly support the members' embedded systems development in cooperation with multiple levels of partners. eSOL and its partners work together to ensure that the solutions developed in the partnership program are seamlessly integrated, and bring more value to the members by shortening the time to market, increasing development productivity, and reducing overall development costs. In this strategic partnership, eSOL and ARM will mainly focus their efforts on multi-core solutions.

Ever since eSOL formed the partnership with ARM, followed by joining the ARM Connected Community, eSOL and ARM have worked and cooperated on many projects and programs in every aspect of engineering, sales, and marketing. In those years, eSOL has constantly supported ARM processor families, including the ARM7™, the ARM9™, and the ARM 11™ processor families, the ARM11 MPCore™ multicore processor, and is planning support for the Cortex™-A9 MPCore processor. eSOL also sublicenses RealView® Compilation Tools by bundling them with eBinder®, eSOL's flagship integrated development environment, as the core product in the eCROS Platform.

"We welcome ARM to the eCROS Partner Program," said Nobuyuki Ueyama, the Executive Vice President of eSOL Co., Ltd. "There is no doubt that this partnership will serve as a strategic foundation on which eSOL and ARM together will strive to take multicore technology to a higher level."

"We are very pleased to become a member of the eCROS Partner Program." says Mark Onions, director of marketing System Design Division, ARM. "This partnership enables us to enhance our existing multicore solutions for leading-edge consumer electronics by leveraging both ARM's and eSOL's extensive software technologies."
