Portland, Oregon - October 17, 2005 - eSOL, a proven developer of real-time
embedded software solutions, today announced that a Kernel Object Viewer
(KOV) for PrKERNELv4 is now available for TMS320DM320 ("DM320"),
TMS320DM270 ("DM270") and TMS320DA295 ("DA295") from
Texas Instruments.
The KOV provides kernel object awareness for Texas Instruments' Code Composer Studio™ (CCS) Integrated Development Environment (IDE). The KOV provides a detailed snapshot of PRKERNELv4 including the current status of kernel internal structures, tasks, flags, mailboxes, and other kernel objects, helping developers debug their RTOS based embedded applications more efficiently. In this release, the KOV supports the latest CCS 3.x series.
PrKERNELv4 is a compact preemptive kernel suited for real-time embedded
applications and offers a rich set of more than 120 system calls and has
been used in many of TI's leading imaging and audio processors world wide.
Millions of consumer electronics products have been shipped with PrKERNELv4.
Pricing and Availability
KOV for CCS3.x is now available for DM320, DM270 and DA295 starting at
$1,000 per development seat.
