Visual Studio Code and Eclipse-based IDE
eSOL's completely redesigned IDE supports the most widely used open de-facto IDE standards: Eclipse and Visual Studio Code. By supporting the build process through the popular open-source CMake tools, developers can compile and link large projects using familiar techniques. The IDE is available for developer PCs with a Windows or Ubuntu operating system.

To eliminate errors in the embedded software application and to optimize the performance, a debugger (system/application), a trace and a performance analyzer are integrated in the IDE. These developer tools are optimized for the corresponding eSOL RTOS and hypervisor.

The SDK pre-integrates a functional safety certified runtime, saving further validation by the user, as well as the filesystem and network stack.
eSOL also offers variants with integrated compilers, such as the Arm® compiler and the Arm simulator FVP for pre-hardware development.
For fast and safe BSP development, we consistently use the same driver format, which provides a BSP with standard programming interfaces for the common device drivers in user mode.
Ubuntu and Windows Host Support
We support your development on Ubuntu and Windows host PCs. So, you can start directly with the application development of mixed-criticality systems based on eMCOS® on your already established or preferred OS architecture. On both OS we support you with convenient installers and long-term support.
