Arm DevSummit 2020 US/EMEA (Virtual conference, ended)
eSOL participated as a global sponsor in the Arm DevSummit 2020 US/EMEA virtual conference (October 6-8, 2020).
We held a keynote presentation entitled "Getting the best performance of today's and tomorrow's Arm cores with eSOL".
It focused on the crucial role of multicore systems in delivering the necessary performance uplift required today by embedded and Edge Computing applications. We explained how the next generation of RTOS unleashes the full performance potential of heterogenous multicore hardware.
On-demand content of the eSOL technology presentation is now available on the Arm Software Developers YouTube channel.

Getting the best performance of today’s and tomorrow’s Arm cores with eSOL

Abstract |
Because of inherent restrictions to semiconductor technology, only multicore systems can provide the required performance increase for embedded and Edge Computing applications. A majority of developers use lock-based SMP RTOS architectures for embedded applications with high performance demands. However, such software design drastically limits the maximum performance of multicore systems. eSOL is introducing eMCOS, a high performance and scalable RTOS based on the company's innovative Multikernel architecture, that unleashes the full performance of multicore hardware. It also supports the multi-process POSIX and AUTOSAR standards for maximum code reusage, whilst being ASIL-D certified.
