eSOL to Deliver Technological Presentation at First Ever Arm DevSummit Virtual Conference

As part of our global sponsorship of the Arm DevSummit 2020 Virtual Conference, and in light of our long-standing strategic partnership with Arm going back some 20 years, we will be delivering a technology presentation on Tuesday 6th October at 11:30 AM Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) / 8:30 PM Central European Summer Time (CEST). The 30-minute presentation, entitled "Getting the best performance of today's and tomorrow's Arm cores with eSOL", will take place virtually.

The eSOL presentation will form part of "The Journey to Autonomous" track, and will focus on the unique and vital role of multicore systems in delivering the necessary performance uplift required by embedded and Edge Computing applications, because of inherent restrictions to semiconductor technology.

We will discuss how many developers, using lock-based SMP RTOS architectures for embedded applications with high performance demands, are facing challenges where this type of software limits the maximum performance of multicore systems.

Our own solution to this is eMCOS, a scalable, high-performance RTOS based on our innovative Multikernel architecture, which unleashes the full performance potential of heterogenous multicore hardware. It also supports the multi-process POSIX and AUTOSAR standards for maximum code reusage, and is ASIL-D certified.
